ABOUT SHITTY CANDLES

While living in Greece, I realized something strange: I couldn’t find a single candle I actually liked. I wanted something natural, with scents that truly filled the room—and designs that didn’t feel like an afterthought. After searching high and low with no luck, I half-joked, “I can’t find these shitty candles anywhere!” And just like that, the idea for Shitty Candles was born.

That frustration pushed me to think outside the box. I wanted to create candles I genuinely loved—so I set out to learn how to make them myself.

What started as a personal project quickly turned into a full-on passion. I hand-pour every candle using 100% coconut soy wax, and I design and craft each vessel individually, by hand.  Every piece is thoughtfully made to feel special and one of a kind.
